Beautiful skin in a Bottle !

Acne has been recurring problem for me for quite some time now. It all started around 5 months back when I got done with my final University exams and the partying and staying up late really took a toll on my skin. Unfortunately it hasn’t recovered completely but is a lot more under control after using this miracle product. Now, I have tried a ton of acne remedies  - TBS tea tree oil, drugstore spot treatments, herbal masks and the list goes on. I did not want to try any harsh targeted products because in the past they have dehydrated and dried out my skin and just have not worked for the better. I was on the lookout for something natural and gentle. Luckily I came across this wonder product!

Contrary to popular belief acne prone/ oily skin should not use toners that contain alcohol. While it may dry up your spots temporarily, what it’s really doing is drying out your skin and tricking it into producing more oil which contributes to more pimples .Try to use alcohol free products or even better, switch to natural remedies like this one.
Apple cider vinegar is AMAZING. Period. Nothing has worked as effectively on my acne as this has. Now you have to be patient because you don’t see the results right away. It takes around a week or so for one to see noticeable results.  The best part about this stuff is that it not only treats your pimples but also brightens up your skin tone. I am guessing it has very gentle exfoliating properties. I have seen a significant improvement in my skin tone after incorporating it in my daily skincare routine.

Apple Cider Vinegar toner:

What you need:
  • Organic Apple cider vinegar (Unpasteurized). You do not want to buy the processed vinegar- the likes of Heinz or American garden because they have been stripped of their natural goodness and are not going to work as good as unpasteurized vinegar.
  • Green tea / Rose water/ Bottled water to dilute the vinegar.

I add ACV and green tea in equal quantities in a glass bottle. Direct application of ACV could be harsh on some skin types. If you have really sensitive skin, use a more diluted mixture with less ACV.  You can play around with the quantities till you find what suits you best. I personally prefer the 1:1 ratio of vinegar and green tea. I have combination, acne prone, sensitive skin ( phew! a lot of words there).

In Doha you can find organic , unpasteurized ACV at The Centre -Megamart .
